Bridget Dolan is a Meisner trained actor with 13 years of experience. Most recently Bridget returned to training at the Atlantic Theatre Company’s Acting School Conservatory on a scholarship where she produced and directed a showcase under her production company Birdie Productions. She also wrote and directed a short biopic performance portraying the famed evangelical preacher Aimee Semple McPherson.
Bridget has extensive training. Prior to moving to New York she studied Improv for Actors at the famed Second City in Chicago. In New York she trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute before spending two years studying Meisner under the instruction of Alan Gordon. In addition, Bridget has wide range of techniques and studios she has studied under; The Barrow Group Theatre, the Bob Krakower Technique with Vance Barber, the Ken Schatz Studio, The Freeman Studio (Maria Dizzia), and numerous workshops with respected industry professionals.
Bridget made her television debut in a costar role on the first season of Mr. Robot/TNT. As well as a starring role in the anthology series Five States of Fear/Chiller Channel. She also has a small feature role in the film Contagion directed by Steven Soderbergh.
After spending countless hours learning many different approaches to the craft of acting, Bridget has been able to jump behind the camera/stage in the role of producer, director, and acting coach in addition to being an actress. Bridget has grown a love specifically for film/tv audition technique.
Bridget is a U.S. Navy Veteran who served 5 years on active duty, grew up in the Windy City, and she has a passion for animals (especially doggos)/music/visual arts/nature. She is currently on an ancestry journey and her dream is to be a guest on Finding Your Roots on PBS.
